Post Entry Compliance Specialist
This position is responsible for the process and activities after the entry summary has been filed. The Post Entry Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring there is compliance and oversight in filing amendments to US Customs & Border Protection on behalf of importers. Update entries to US Customs and ensure accuracy prior to filing entry. Administer post entry services for Compliance. Prepare letters, reports and supporting documentation to submit to US Customs, including protest letters and documents related to answering CF-28s or CF-29s. Oversee analysis of the impact of tariffs on Compliance client entries to identify post entry workload. Communicate status of post entry claims to customers using reports, email, etc. High school diploma or equivalent CCS designation (preferred). US customs broker license (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Intermedia knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Understanding of customs brokerage operations/CBP requirements. Ability to troubleshoot entry-related issues. High level of organization, time management and attention to detail. Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times. Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CND/USA/MX.
