Responsible for ensuring that finished product is prepared properly for movement through the Wrapping Department (slicing and wrapping operations) onto the Shipping Department. Responsibilities include straightening and inspecting product before being sliced and making adjustments for a smooth operation, unloading trays and stacking in-feed conveyor, ensuring that product is placed correctly on trays/baskets in the correct pattern after having gone through the packaging process, placing filled trays correctly onto racks or baskets on stacks for movement to the shipping area. Continuously inspects product and packaging for damage, correct codes and correct bags, etc. Responsibilities and Essential Tasks

Palletizer Responsible for placing trays with product into empty racks or baskets on stacks and tagging those racks/stacks properly, while keeping track of the orders that are completed and watching for non-conforming product. Serves as a last check point for non-conforming product before product is given to shipping. Should visually check for: Correct pattern and number on a tray Color, size, shape of rolls Split bags (if noticeable) Stickers and coupons (when applicable) Obvious damages Code and Price Bun Twisters/Sorters Responsible for aiding the operators in looking for and discarding any non-conforming product and helping with change over from one product to the next. Other responsibilities include: Making the operator aware of any issues

roll overs, singles, doubles, non-conforming product, etc. Racking off when machines are down Tray Stacker "Infeeder"/Unstacker Tray Stacker

- Main responsibility is proper placement of empty trays onto pallet infeed conveyor. Trays must be stacked neatly and evenly as to allow the unstacker to perform its intended job. Unstacker

- Responsible for working and maintaining the two unstacker machines which provide trays to the roll and bread lines. Must keep a steady flow of trays to the machines in order to keep the machines running at the desired speed by watching for tray jam ups and double trays. (Function may change when new equipment is installed) Also responsible for: Pushing empty racks out of work area to make them accessible to shipping. Removing any broken, bent, or dirty trays from the line and placing them into an empty rack. Removing any unwanted foreign objects from the trays such as: old tags, papers, coupon, stickers, etc. Shutdown/Downtime Responsible for helping with clean up duties on the baggers, palletizing/stacking areas. Ensures that all baggers, slicers, APHs, and tiers are powered off. Removes all carts/dollies, barrels, shovels etc. from work area, and ensures that all items are put away properly. Opens up machines to be blown out. If conducting clean up, abides by proper use of lock-out tag-out, restricted air nozzle, and goggles use policies. General Duties Fills in for other positions as assigned by supervision. Assists other employees during production overflow and/or emergencies to maintain product flow. Trains/retrains as required by company training guidelines (i.e. annual GMPT). Keeps equipment and area of assigned work clean and neat at all times. Assists other employees when possible. During periods of downtime, performs work as assigned by supervision. Notifies supervision of any irregularities, equipment problems or safety hazards. Does not change job procedures without authorization from supervision. Performs all other related assignments and training of other employees as required by supervision. Anything which negatively affects or potentially affects the quality of the product (including damaged or inferior ingredients and produced product) must immediately be resolved by the employee or brought to the attention of a Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Preparation and Training Work requires a high school level of knowledge of several subjects in order to perform calculations, keep accurate records and/or deal effectively with people. Work Experience Typically between one (1) and three (3) months of bakery experience is required for preparation and training to meet quality and quantity standards of the job. Analytical Ability Little or no analytical ability required. Any analysis done involves simple comparisons between what proper product looks like and variety of bags, codes, stickers, etc. Independent Judgment and Consequence of Errors Routine work is performed under close supervision or in accordance with specific and detailed instructions. Minor consequence of errors causing some inconvenience and confusion but little cost in time, money or goodwill, with the exception of damaged product if handled too roughly. Contact with Others Little or no contact with people outside the Company and frequent contact with fellow employees in immediate work area. Work of Others No responsibility for the work of others. Must be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects such as packaged product, pallets and racks. Mental and visual ability is required to identify various products, codes, labels and stickers. Must be able to do basic math calculations to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to move up and down stairways in plant to reach job assignments and perform the tasks required in the wrapping and shipping areas. Tasks require standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and feeling. Must be capable of reaching seven (7) feet to handle placing pallets of products on racks for distribution. Must be able to understand complex instructions, oral and written, and read notices and work schedules. Hearing protection is required in designated areas. Colored sight is needed to distinguish colors for food safety. Worker subject to hazards such as proximity to moving parts, electrical current, and moving objects carrying considerable weight and force Must be able to work courteously and effectively with others, and to assist co-workers as required.
