Job Title: Video Editor Location: Remote Salary: $9 - $25 (Depending on seniority and experience) Schedule: Full-time preferred (part-time considered) Monday to Friday, 9AM -5PM MST We are hiring a high-level Video Editor to support the growth of a fast-growing podcast and content production team. The team produces long-form podcast episodes, online courses, and conversational content, and repurposes that material into short-form clips for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Due to increasing demand for new podcasts, we are looking for a skilled editor who can take ownership of a significant portion of the editing workflow and help scale production. This role is ideal for someone who: Is excellent at editing long-form conversations and podcasts Has strong instincts for pacing and storytelling Can identify engaging moments to turn into social clips Works confidently in DaVinci Resolve Has the technical capacity to work with large files Has strong English comprehension and understanding of the American conversational context What You’ll Be Editing Podcast episodes Talking-head long-form videos Online course content Short-form clips for social media Typical Workflow Edit long-form podcast episodes Improve pacing, clarity, and flow of conversations Identify engaging moments and create short-form clips Prepare videos optimized for YouTube and social platforms Key Responsibilities Edit long-form podcast episodes with professional pacing and structure Work primarily in DaVinci Resolve Create short-form clips from long-form podcast content Identify engaging highlights from conversations for social media Remove unnecessary pauses and tighten dialogue Maintain consistent editing quality across projects Organize project files and maintain clean workflows Collaborate with the production team to improve editing processes Qualifications Proven experience editing long-form video content Experience editing podcasts or conversational content Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve Excellent English listening comprehension Understanding of American conversational tone and culture Ability to identify engaging moments in conversations High attention to detail and editing quality Ability to work independently and manage editing workload Strong Plus (Not Required) Professional podcast editing experience Experience repurposing long-form content into short-form clips Familiarity with YouTube and social media content strategy Motion graphics or light visual enhancements Working Style Communicates clearly and reliably Can work hours that overlap with U.S. Mountain Time Is comfortable working with a remote creative team Takes pride in producing high-quality edits What We Offer Fully remote role Long-term collaboration opportunity Consistent editing workload Opportunity to work on growing podcasts and creator content Collaborative and creative production environment Remote Work: Work from anywhere—our team is global, and we value work-life balance.
