Online Grocery Order Fulfillment Specialist

Become a critical part of our team as an Online Grocery Order Fulfillment Specialist, where you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our customers. Your main responsibilities will involve selecting and collecting products for online grocery orders, ensuring that every item meets our high standards of freshness and quality. In this position, you will not only assemble customer orders but also process payments and promotional coupons, all while loading groceries into customers' vehicles efficiently when they arrive for pickup. Your commitment to outstanding customer service will greatly enhance our customers' online shopping experience, encouraging them to return time and time again. Key Responsibilities: Expertly select and gather items for customer orders, always prioritizing freshness and quality. Initiate and complete the order selection process for online purchases. Assemble orders, handle all transactions through the point of sale (POS) system, and keep customers informed about any necessary substitutions. Accurately scan and bag items following established bagging procedures. Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing a seamless shopping experience, ensuring product variety, cleanliness, and availability. Adhere to all relevant laws and food safety protocols. Properly store items in designated temperature zones and maintain clean and organized preparation areas. Effective communication with customers using a portable phone, ensuring timely responses to inquiries. Promptly report any discrepancies in pricing, scanning, or product location. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision. Proficient reading skills for interpreting shelf tags and customer orders. Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in personal shopping, retail environments, warehouse settings, or as a cashier is advantageous.
