Senior Electrician

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, Field Based, Senior Electrician in Norco, CA! We are seeking a skilled Electrician III to join our Facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team supporting a government customer in NORCO, California. This role is critical to ensuring safe and efficient electrical operations across all facility systems and government property. Senior Electrician Compensation The pay for this position is $70,000-78,000/yr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment – 401K plan with match, medical, dental, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and 11 paid holidays Senior Electrician Highlights This position is a Direct Hire role! The required availability for this position is 6:30 am – 3:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Senior Electrician Responsibilities · Perform daily operational checks on all electrical equipment. · Maintain, repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, load, and test electrical equipment, including secondary distribution lines, switchgear, motors, multi-phase AC circuits, industrial and low voltage lighting systems. · Operate and maintain inspection and testing equipment and PPE; recommend calibrations as required. · Conduct infrared surveys/scans of panels, switchboards, transformers, bus ducts, VFDs, and related equipment. · Read and interpret blueprints, control diagrams, and logic diagrams; create red line drawings as needed. · Design, install, and route electrical lines and circuits ensuring safe operation and load balance. · Perform calculations for load requirements and maintain a formal inventory system for lighting components. · Identify unsafe conditions and report immediately to Safety Specialist. · Assist with facility projects, installation of new equipment, general mechanical space cleaning, and emergency response. · Complete monthly safety inspections, safety training, and other duties as assigned. Senior Electrician Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. OSHA 10 certification preferred. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical trades. Thorough knowledge of NEC and 70E standards. Experience with high and low voltage systems, VFDs, AHUs, ATS, UPS, and industrial lighting systems. Ability to respond to emergency call-ins. Must pass “Fit for Duty” physical and respirator fit test. Capable of climbing ladders, maneuvering platforms, and working in confined spaces. U.S. Citizenship and active Tier 3/NACLC/Secret clearance required. Desired Skills & Experience 5+ years in electrical trades. Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and industrial controls. Experience in laboratory environments including fume hoods and lab benches. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, electrical energy, fumes, moving machinery, and slippery surfaces. Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting over 50 lbs. Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and stretching for prolonged periods.
