Puyallup, WA (Full-Time, In-Office Preferred)

Open to exceptional remote candidates

Sears Injury Law is the largest and fastest-growing personal injury firm in Washington, with 9 offices across Washington and Oregon—and more on the way. We’re looking for an Intake Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in the very first interaction we have with potential clients.

This position is based in our Puyallup office, where we collaborate closely as a team. While we are open to a truly exceptional remote candidate, we have a strong preference for someone who can be in-office and part of the day-to-day energy of the team.

If you’re someone who naturally leads with empathy, communicates with clarity, and can confidently guide people through important decisions—you could be an excellent fit here.

What You’ll Do:

Be the first point of contact for potential clients—answering calls, walk-ins, and web inquiries with professionalism and care

Speak with individuals who have often just experienced a traumatic event, providing calm, clarity, and direction

Conduct intake interviews, gathering important details with accuracy and empathy

Clearly explain how our firm can help and what clients can expect moving forward

Build trust quickly and guide conversations in a way that helps clients feel confident taking the next step

Accurately enter and manage client information in our case management system

Coordinate consultations with attorneys and case managers

Follow up with potential clients who are still deciding—serving as a consistent, reassuring point of contact

Represent Sears and Seattle Injury Law with warmth, professionalism, and discretion

What Success Looks Like in This Role: This role is about more than collecting information—it’s about helping people move forward.

Our clients come to us overwhelmed, uncertain, and looking for guidance. The most successful people in this position are able to connect quickly, earn trust, and confidently help clients understand why moving forward with our firm is the right decision.

We lead with empathy and education—but we also rely on your ability to guide conversations with confidence and help people feel certain about what comes next.

This is a fast-paced, high-conversation role that requires both empathy and confidence in guiding people through important decisions.

What We’re Looking For: Strong English communication skills—clear, confident, and empathetic

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required

Naturally persuasive in a way that feels helpful and genuine—not pushy

Able to build trust quickly and guide conversations with confidence

Comfortable helping people make decisions and move forwardEmotionally intelligent—you can meet people where they are and lead them through difficult moments

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly

Experience in intake, customer service, call centers, or other client-facing roles is helpful—but we will train the right person

Why Join Sears Injury Law? Be part of a mission-driven team—we help injured people get justice, and it all starts with you

Join the #1 personal injury firm in Washington & Oregon, with continued rapid growth

Opportunities for advancement as we expand into new markets and departments

Work in a collaborative, high-performing environment based in Puyallup

Be part of a team that values empathy, accountability, and results
