Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Digital Asset Coordinator
to support a Marketing Creative Services team in managing, organizing, updating, editing, and archiving digital assets and files. This individual will help develop, support, and enhance the organization’s digital asset management environment, including participation in modernization and migration efforts to enterprise DAM platforms.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in digital asset management, metadata governance, asset lifecycle support, and collaboration across creative, marketing, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day administration of digital asset management systems, including AEM and related asset platforms Enhance discoverability of digital assets by applying and maintaining metadata in accordance with established standards and business needs Oversee the lifecycle of image assets, including selection, ingestion, governance, organization, and ongoing maintenance Support DAM modernization and migration initiatives by assisting with asset preparation, metadata alignment, ingestion standards, validation of migrated assets, and workflow readiness Serve as a subject matter expert for DAM systems, providing user support, documentation, training, testing, and process improvement recommendations Identify and communicate opportunities to improve metadata consistency, searchability, and asset discovery Organize and maintain a wide range of creative assets, including photography, video, campaign materials, stock imagery, logos, design files, video b-roll, and special project content Act as a point of contact for asset requests and handoff between internal teams, developers, vendors, and external partners Partner with cross-functional teams on DAM-related enhancements, workflow improvements, platform updates, and migration readiness Develop and maintain naming conventions and governance standards to ensure files are easily searchable and consistently managed Research and help implement new tools, technologies, and process improvements that enhance digital asset workflows
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Digital Asset Coordinator or similar role Hands-on experience managing digital asset libraries and supporting asset lifecycle governance Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content and asset management platforms Strong knowledge of creative file formats and optimization, including JPG, GIF, PNG, SVG, EPS, vector, and flattened image files Experience working with metadata standards, asset organization, naming conventions, and governance processes Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment Strong organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with image editing tools and techniques, including color correction, photo retouching, and Adobe Creative Cloud Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or participating in DAM migration initiatives, including migration to enterprise DAM or EDAM platforms Familiarity with organizational workflows, governance models, and best practices for enterprise asset management Knowledge of financial services or enterprise marketing environments is a plus
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically capable, and experienced in managing creative assets at scale. They should be comfortable supporting both day-to-day DAM operations and broader initiatives related to system improvements, migration readiness, and metadata consistency.
