Our client, a mission-driven global organization focused on large-scale social impact initiatives, is seeking a
Contract Specialist
to support a high-functioning procurement and contracting team.
JOB SUMMARY The Contract Specialist will provide end-to-end contracting support across operational agreements, working within established contracting systems and frameworks. This role partners closely with Legal, sourcing, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure contracts are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational risk and compliance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft, review, and edit contract documents using approved templates and standard clauses
Partner with Legal, sourcing teams, and business stakeholders to align on contract structure, risk considerations, and business requirements
Support negotiation and revision of contract terms through to execution
Track contract lifecycle progress, approvals, and communications within procurement systems (e.g., Coupa or similar tools)
Ensure timely execution and proper documentation of agreements
Identify opportunities to improve contracting workflows, templates, and internal processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in contract drafting, review, and lifecycle management within procurement, legal, or corporate environments
Familiarity with procurement or contract management systems (Coupa preferred)
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, stakeholders, and vendors
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
LOCATION Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite per week)
DURATION 6-month contract with potential for extension
COMPENSATION RANGE $50 – $70 per hour
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION This position is not eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
