About the Role We are hiring a Cannabis Sales Representative to own and grow our Western New York territory, including major markets such as Buffalo and Rochester, while also managing accounts throughout the broader region.
This is a high-impact, field-based role responsible for driving revenue, strengthening retail partnerships, and expanding our wholesale footprint across licensed dispensaries.
You will operate as the owner of your territory, responsible for prospecting, closing, driving sell-through, and delivering exceptional retail execution.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with licensed dispensaries across the assigned territory
Conduct in-person sales visits to educate buyers and staff on product offerings and brand positioning
Identify and close new wholesale opportunities
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and placement opportunities
Monitor sell-through and account performance to drive reorders and growth
Analyze sales data and market trends to inform territory strategy
Coordinate with marketing and operations to support merchandising, activations, and retail rollouts
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and territory reporting
Represent To The Moon professionally across all retail environments
Required Qualifications
3+ years of field sales experience (cannabis, CPG, beverage, or lifestyle brands preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
Experience managing a defined territory independently
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Western New York
Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships within New York licensed dispensaries
Working knowledge of New York cannabis regulations
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
