Position Overview Very busy, high end, on and off-premise Los Angeles Catering Company is looking to add a Catering Sales Team Member. Luxury Brand Catering experience is a plus as well as knowledge of the LA Catering + Events Market. Must love food!

***Job encourages close proximity to business (Torrance). Long commute applicants are not ideal.***

Ideal Candidates Ideal candidates will have an in depth knowledge of food, catering, venues and luxury brand hospitality. Your clients will be social event clients as well as corporate large and small looking to make an impression or sell their brand through our culinary experience.

Qualifications

Outstanding communication, detailed and organizational skills

Confident and assertive over the phone, with a great personality and warm and friendly speaking voice

Reliable, Responsible; Well-Organized

Easy to work with, Independent, yet a team player

A self-starter who will take initiative and gets the job done!

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new systems.

Previous sales experience for a catering or F+B company is a plus!

Duties

Daily calls to potential clients

Set up and host Executive & Social Client food tastings

Client correspondence including emails & written communications

Solicit new business through phone calls, emails & appointments

The ability to develop new client relationships, as well as maintaining existing ones

Ability to handle the vast Greater LA market

Works with a sense of urgency and able to handle multiple clients at once while making them each feel cared for

Comfortable with a monthly sales quota

Determined and part of a team in their effort to see the company reach their yearly and long-term goals.

Able to represent their product to the client in a knowledgeable manner

Compensation

Compensation includes: Salary + Commission

Health, Vision, Dental, 401K with matching funds

$60,000.00 /year base salary plus commission

Work Schedule Job Type: Full-time

Event Specialist: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Weekend availability is needed based on events booked.
