Sr. Account Executive
is responsible for working diligently to execute strategies and initiatives to achieve financial and business performance goals. This position supports the Wholesale business.
The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.
Key Responsibilities Financial Performance & Business Strategic Work collaboratively with President and Director of Planning to build and develop realistic financial plans, monitoring performance throughout the season and implementing strategies to ensure financial goals are met Manage existing business by driving performance, re-orders, managing risk and liability, and analyzing customer business opportunities Meet and exceed margin goals internally and externally with retail partners Track profitability and proactively protect and improve margins
Drive Account Growth & Retail Partnerships Collaborate with client accounts to define and execute product strategies and identify growth opportunities Present and sell seasonal collections to buyers for assigned accounts Provide consumer insights and product needs in advance of the season using customer hindsight Work closely with internal and external partners to enhance brand positioning and ensure strategies align with brand objectives Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform strategy
Business Analysis, Reporting & Decision Support Reporting and consistent sales analysis to drive business decisions Track weekly sales and stock to identify risks and opportunities Build and update WTD, MTD, & YTD sales reports Prepare informational packets and analysis for retailer meetings and presentations
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution Work closely and cross-functionally with product, production, and account services teams Excel at internal and external communications to support alignment and decision-making
Team & Operational Management Manage multiple projects and deadlines, utilizing available resources and support as needed Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 10 years in customer ser Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
