26 AZ Serve VISTA - Diaper Bank Community Engagement

The Wrapped in Love (WiL) Diaper Bank is based in Yavapai County with a mission to alleviate the cost of diapers, period products, and incontinence supplies, while strengthening families’ access to essential resource programs and services. The VISTA member will implement a volunteer management structure and develop health education resources to share with community partners. These strategies will result in increased visibility through active social media, collaborating with local businesses, and developing ideas to reach new audiences.
Member Duties
Create a structured volunteer management system for the diaper bank’s operations, research best practices, present findings to the board, review existing tools and member data, and develop a volunteer management structure based on findings.
Research health education resources to be shared with community partners so that WiL’s mission is effectively communicated to clients accessing services through partners. Design engagement structures for these materials.
Enhance the diaper bank’s visibility within the community through social media planning, collaborations with local businesses and programs, and developing strategies to reach new audiences.
