Fire Sprinkler Designer

Corcoran Fire is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team in Mt. Morris. This role is ideal for someone who can step in and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in sprinkler system layout and design, who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with project managers and field teams. Responsibilities Design and layout commercial fire sprinkler systems Produce detailed plans using AutoSPRINK and AutoCAD Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and other trades Prepare submittals and assist with permitting processes Revise drawings and complete as-built documentation Occasionally visit job sites to verify layouts and field conditions Qualifications Proven experience in fire sprinkler system design and layout Strong proficiency in AutoSPRINK and AutoCAD (required) Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Working knowledge of NFPA standards (preferred) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver’s license (for occasional site visits) Full-Time, in-office position (Mt.
