Overview
JRK seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join our team. As a Multifamily Data Analyst, you will collect, prepare, analyze, and maintain comprehensive reports that help maximize the value of our properties. The Analyst reports to the Vice President of Finance – Multifamily Operations, overseeing all internal data analysis and reporting for the Multifamily Asset Management department. The Analyst will gain exposure to the executive leadership team through regular property performance reviews. The Analyst is responsible for regular weekly and monthly reporting and one-off projects to maximize the financial performance of the entire JRK multifamily portfolio. This position is based in our West Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
Prepare financial models, projections, and performance reports for multifamily assets
Conduct market research and analysis to support asset management decisions
Manage property management software system to maximize property and portfolio revenue
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, operations, and finance departments
Monitor and track property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
Perform financial audits as well as physical audits as needed
Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors, under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes
Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines, excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education And Experience
A bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field preferred
Experience in real estate asset management or financial analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends
Strong computer skills, VBA and SQL a plus
Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Physical Requirements
Expected work hours: 7:30 to 7:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
Travel: As needed and as directed by the Vice President of Asset Management
Work environment and physical demands: General office environment, ability to walk multifamily properties during site visits and physical audits
