A Long Island-based CPA firm is looking to add an Audit Senior to its growing team. The firm offers a full range of audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base and is known for its collaborative environment, hands‑on leadership, and strong opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities Audit & Assurance
Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements
Plan engagements, assess risk, and execute audit procedures
Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures
Evaluate internal controls and identify improvements
Supervise and mentor staff
Tax (Seasonal)
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Assist with tax compliance and research
Client Service
Maintain strong client relationships
Communicate findings and ensure timely delivery of engagements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or pursuing preferred)
3–6+ years of public accounting experience
Strong audit experience; tax exposure is a plus
Proficiency in Excel and audit software
Strong communication and leadership skills
