Technical Writer/Designer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer/Designer with a strong background in electrical engineering, hardware, or audio visual systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks and will be responsible for creating detailed technical documentation and designs.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain technical documentation using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
Ensure all designs adhere to relevant standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather and interpret technical information.
Develop and edit technical content for various hardware and audio visual systems.
Essential Skills
Extensive experience with AutoCAD.
Proficiency in Solidworks.
Familiarity with relevant standards.
Background in electrical engineering, hardware, or audio visual systems.
Technical writing and design skills.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience, Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Visio.
Adobe Illustrator experience.
Work Environment This is a contract role expected to last through at least September 2026. The position requires working with various drafting and design software in a collaborative engineering environment.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
