global fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle brands , build relationships with editors and stylists, and support high-impact press moments across fashion, accessories, and celebrity culture.

About the Role MVPR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Account Executive
to join our New York office in a hybrid
Press & Influencer Relations
role.
This position focuses primarily on
press outreach and editorial coverage generation , while also supporting influencer initiatives, stylist outreach, and showroom sample trafficking.
The Account Executive will work closely with senior team members to execute communications strategies, manage editorial relationships, and support culturally relevant brand moments across fashion and lifestyle media.
Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day press outreach across fashion, lifestyle, and digital publications to secure strategic coverage
Support senior team members in developing and implementing PR strategies for client accounts
Manage day-to-day client communications and assist with reporting and campaign recaps
Build and maintain relationships with editors, writers, stylists, and industry contacts
Draft and distribute press materials including pitches, media alerts, and press releases
Secure placements across print, digital, and broadcast outlets; track coverage and maintain detailed recaps
Monitor editorial calendars, industry trends, and cultural moments to identify timely media opportunities
Manage sample trafficking through Launchmetrics (or similar platform), including stylist pulls, loans, check‑in, and returns
Support influencer outreach initiatives, stylist relationships, gifting programs, and red carpet opportunities
Assist with showroom appointments, events, and brand activations
Contribute to client strategy documents, reporting, and campaign recaps
Qualifications
2–3 years of public relations experience within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands (agency experience preferred)
Strong press pitching experience and understanding of editorial calendars (short lead and long lead)
Familiarity with influencer and stylist relationships within the fashion landscape
Experience managing sample trafficking and showroom organization (Launchmetrics preferred)
Existing media or stylist relationships are a plus
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
Passion for fashion, media, and cultural storytelling
Team-oriented with strong accountability
Salary range:
$45,000 – $67,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications.
