Position Overview
As a
Jr. Sales Associate
, you will support the sales team in developing new yearbook accounts, managing regional outreach efforts, and helping schools successfully launch and complete their yearbook projects. This is an ideal role for someone with strong customer service experience, a desire to learn sales, and an interest in growing within a fast-paced, mission-driven company.
You will work under the guidance of a
Senior Sales Representative
, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and developing new yearbook accounts within a defined regional territory Support regional marketing campaigns and help collect contact data for outreach Schedule and coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-ups with potential clients Drop off sample yearbooks and marketing materials at local schools Attend regional conferences, school events, and trade shows to represent the Yearbook Brand Support schools throughout the yearbook process by answering questions, providing technical support, and relaying feedback to senior team members Participate in bi-weekly sales check-ins and performance reviews Work closely with the regional team to meet sales goals and retention targets
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or client support Strong organizational and communication skills (phone, email, and in person) Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude Interest in publishing, education, design, or school-based programs Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and basic CRM tools Comfort with both Mac and PC platforms is a plus Knowledge of design software or a willingness to learn Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a sales career
The Pay Range For This Role Is
23 - 25 USD per hour(State College)
