The Coordinator supports and manages the administrative duties of the Community Life team, assists in the coordination and management of facility needs, and cultivates stakeholder engagement. As an integral member of the team, the Coordinator contributes to the success of events, programs, and resident engagement experiences designed to create a sense of community and lifestyle that sets our community apart.

SCOPE

Assist in the development and implementation of community events, community programs, and other activities supporting our commitment to innovative community-building initiatives.

Coordinate annual engagement calendar to support Community Engagement activities.

Provide customer service with a friendly and caring approach, addressing residents who may not follow policies and managing escalated situations with composure and professionalism.

Maintain community engagement calendar and proactively alert Manager(s) to scheduling conflicts.

Contribute to the execution of community strategic plans and budgets.

Support delivery of engagement programs and events inclusive of welcome, volunteer, club and group programs and signature events.

Maintain community records in cloud-based storage files.

Inform upcoming resident communications with current program and event information, manage event registration and calendar systems, and informational/reference materials.

Help monitor, evaluate, and maintain community website content pages as required.

Provide customer support to Community residents as needed.

Work collaboratively with the broader Cohere Community Life team and colleagues to identify and implement best practices to ensure efficiencies of scale.

KNOWLEDGE | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred possession of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, communications, recreation or similar field with demonstrable transferable skills.

A minimum of 1 year’s experience planning and/or coordinating events and/or programs.

1–2 years of professional experience with relevant transferable skills.

Experience of one to three years in customer service and working in a professional environment required.

Preferred a minimum of 1 year of experience working with volunteers, organization members or similar stakeholder groups.

Effective communication, motivation, cooperation, and conflict resolution.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Experience working in a master‑planned community or other residential community setting is highly desirable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, some evenings and holidays.

Provide one's own transportation for off‑site programs, meetings with partners, picking up necessary supplies, etc.; must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be on feet for extended periods.

Job Type Full‑time

Pay $20 to $22 per hour; 40 hours per week
