Role Description
The Fundraising & Community Engagement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sioux City, IA. The specialist will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising events, cultivating donor relationships, and developing community outreach strategies to raise awareness about the organization’s mission. Tasks include grant writing, managing donor databases, engaging community partners, creating promotional materials, and organizing campaigns to increase funding and public support. This role requires collaboration with team members to achieve fundraising goals and expand community impact. Qualifications
Fundraising and grant writing skills, with the ability to meet financial goals Experience in community engagement and relationship building with stakeholders and donors Proficiency in creating and managing marketing materials, promotional content, and digital outreach campaigns Strong organizational, project management, and event coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a diverse team Experience with donor management software and systems is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
