Role Description This is a full-time on-site position based in New York, United States, for a Technical Designer at Secret Mission. The Technical Designer will collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality in garment construction and fit. Responsibilities include creating technical specifications, reviewing patterns, conducting fittings, and providing clear communication to ensure the design intent is properly executed. The role requires attention to detail and a passion for fine craftsmanship to uphold the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Technical Design and Garment Construction
Experience with Fitting and Pattern Making
Understanding of design structure and Architecture as it pertains to fashion and garment creation
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate design specifications effectively
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred: Relevant experience in luxury or eco-friendly fashion
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
