Summary

Provides support to the team responsible for charitable giving, sponsorships, and community programs while contributing to the development and implementation of initiatives that connect the company to the community. Coordinates the company’s on-site presence at store, community, and corporate events, ensuring that the company is represented according to established image standards. Assists in establishing and fostering collaborative relationships with community partners, civic leaders, non‑profit organizations, the general public, and local governments. Pay Range

Pay Range:

$20.33- $30.50 Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Assists in planning and executing charitable and community outreach programs and fundraising initiatives in stores and corporate offices. Supports planning and implementation of in‑store and community events and promotions, including development and fulfillment of internal and external promotional materials. Staffs Market 32 and Price Chopper event space as required. Communicates verbally and in writing with community organizations regarding proposals and support decisions; resolves routine inquiries and refers matters involving policy or procedural implications to supervisor. Negotiates and purchases event‑related premiums and promotional items; maintains inventory for branding and activation materials. Maintains records and prepares reports related to community relations programs and events, utilizing spreadsheet and database applications. Manages distribution of program procedures, sponsorship fulfillment, and processes invoicing, billing, and payment requisitions; works closely with Accounting to ensure accurate check requests and timely payments. Performs administrative and clerical tasks requiring knowledge of departmental operations and corporate policies and procedures. Answers telephone and email inquiries and distributes departmental mail. Resolves non‑routine questions and escalates issues as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned and adheres to all company policies and procedures. Attends events as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure successful execution and representation of the company. Minimum Qualifications

Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams. Proficiency in online search engines (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Explorer). Ability to demonstrate follow‑through to achieve desired results and objectives. Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. 2–3 years of experience in clerical, marketing, advertising, or public relations roles, or a combination of relevant education and experience. Physical Requirements
