Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in San Diego, CA, for a Lighting Designer. The Lighting Designer will be responsible for designing and specifying lighting solutions tailored to architectural, interior, and specialty projects. Key responsibilities include collaborating with architects and engineers, developing creative lighting designs, selecting fixtures, specifying lighting controls, and ensuring all designs meet project requirements and standards. The Lighting Designer will also assist with documentation production using tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
Expertise in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting
Proficiency with Lighting Control systems
Knowledge of Interior Design and specialty lighting for diverse applications
Experience with industry‑standard tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
Strong problem‑solving, creative, and technical communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design, Engineering, or related field is preferred
Familiarity with local and national lighting codes and compliance standards is a plus
