Pine Knoll Camp Director Non-Union, Non-Exempt, Up to 40 hours per week,
May - August Salary: \$22.00-\$24.00/ hour General Description: We are
seeking an enthusiastic and organized Camp Director to lead our day camp
operations. The Camp Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects
of camp programming, staff management, camper safety, and parent
communication. This leadership role requires strong organizational,
interpersonal, and leadership skills to create a positive, fun, and safe
Environment For Campers And Staff Alike. Primary Essential Functions
Plan, implement, and evaluate daily camp programs and activities Train,
supervise, and support camp staff, including the Assistant Director,
Counselors, Jr Counselors and CIT?s Ensure the safety and well-being of
all campers and staff, maintaining compliance with health and safety
regulations Foster a positive camp culture and promote inclusion,
respect, and teamwork Communicate effectively with parents/guardians
regarding camp policies, camper progress, and any concerns Manage camp
budget, supplies, and resources efficiently, including staffing to meet
staff to camper ratio requirements Handle emergencies and incidents with
professionalism and care Collaborate with administrative staff on
enrollment, scheduling, and logistics Organize and lead camp events, and
special activities Utilize computer based software such as G-Suite,
Microsoft Office, Sling and My Rec Organize and lead the Pine Knoll
Staff\'s Pre-Camp training week in conjunction with the Aquatics Staff
and Assistant Camp Director Education and Experience: Must be 21 years
of age or older Bachelor?s degree in education, recreation, or related
field (preferred) Previous experience working in a camp setting, with at
least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role CPR and First Aid
certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent leadership,
organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple
tasks and adapt to changing situations Passion for working with children
