The Athletic Director provides Christ-centered leadership for the school’s athletic program, ensuring all sports reflect the school’s mission, values, and biblical worldview. This role supports the spiritual, academic, and physical development of student‑athletes while promoting excellence, integrity, and servant leadership.
Responsibilities include oversight of all athletic operations and compliance (MPA and league), coach recruitment and development, student eligibility, scheduling, budgeting, facilities coordination, and risk management. The Athletic Director partners with school leadership, faculty, families, and the community to strengthen school culture and advance character development through athletics that support the school’s academic and discipleship mission.
What You’ll Do Athletic Director
Program leadership and oversight
Coach recruitment, supervision, and development
Budget and fiscal management
Scheduling and league coordination
Compliance and risk management
Student-athlete oversight
Facilities and equipment management
Communication and community relations
Travel and event operations
PE Teacher
Instruction and curriculum
Lesson planning and assessment
Collaboration with classroom teachers and administrators on student progress, wellness initiatives and school events
What We’re Looking For
A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s statement of faith
Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree in education, administration, or athletic director endorsement preferred)
Significant leadership experience in education, administration, or athletics
Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Knowledge of current research, theory and instruction of K‑12 athletics; successful coaching experience
