Internal Communications Specialist

Seeking an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to support a large, multiyear, global enterprise transformation program. This is a high-visibility role that will partner closely with executive leaders, program leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive clear, consistent, and compelling internal communications across the organization.

Only have to come onsite in Conshohocken, PA 1-2 per month.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Communications

Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies that support a large-scale, global enterprise program.

Translate complex program objectives, milestones, and impacts into clear, concise, and engaging messaging for diverse internal audiences.

Ensure communications align with brand, tone, and strategic priorities.

Executive & Leadership Engagement

Partner directly with executive leaders and senior stakeholders to shape messaging, narratives, and communication plans.

Draft and manage executive-level communications, including leadership talking points, announcements, presentations, and town hall materials.

Serve as a trusted communications advisor to program leadership.

Content Development & Delivery

Create a wide range of internal communication assets, such as announcements, intranet content, email campaigns, FAQs, presentations, and project updates.

Manage communication calendars and ensure timely delivery of materials across global regions and functions.

Incorporate change management principles into messaging to support adoption and engagement.

Program & Project Management

Manage multiple communication workstreams simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Collaborate with project managers, change management leads, and cross‑functional teams to align communication efforts.

Track progress, assess communication effectiveness, and continuously refine approaches based on feedback and metrics.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Experience

5–7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, journalism, or public relations.

Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives or transformation programs.

Proven ability to work with and influence senior and executive-level leaders.

Skills & Capabilities

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong content strategy mindset.

Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities in deadline-driven environments.

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable working in a highly collaborative, global setting.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive communications forward with minimal direction.

Proficiency with standard computer applications and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, intranet platforms, communication tools).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting global audiences across regions and time zones.

Background in healthcare, life sciences, or a regulated industry is a plus, but not required.

Familiarity with change management and employee engagement strategies.

Prior supervisory or informal leadership experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Conshohocken, PA. This is a hybrid position.

Pay And Benefits Pay range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
