Our agency client is looking for a contract CAD Designer to support projects for Military, Federal, and Defense clients. This role is onsite in Atlanta three days per week and runs up to 40 hours weekly for three months, with the possibility of extension.
What You'll Do:
Design interior and exterior spaces such as buildings, lobbies, conference rooms, and innovation rooms.
Create visuals for virtual environments (virtual campuses, exhibits, facility replicas).
Work closely with the Creative Director and other designers.
Turn concept sketches, photos, or requirements into detailed models and drawings.
Ensure designs meet project goals and stay aligned with design intent.
Stay current with design trends, technologies, and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
At least 5 years of experience in interior/commercial, exhibition, experiential, or interactive design.
Strong skills in CAD software, 3D tools like SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with modeling, texturing, shading, and lighting.
Ability to solve problems creatively and deliver innovative design solutions.
Strong space planning and functional analysis knowledge.Highly organized, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
