The CRM Analyst serves on a team of CRM professionals who provide technical resource for the university's CRM systems, including Technolutions Slate and Salesforce. This role resolves a wide range of business process issues by designing, configuring, and implementing solutions within the CRMs and integrated SaaS applications for workflow and forms. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to support the entire student lifecycle, from prospective students to alumni engagement, ensuring data integrity and a seamless user experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

4-7 years of related experience.

Direct hands‑on administrative experience with any CRM technology.

Experience working in a university setting, particularly within admissions, advising, recruitment, student services, student success, or advancement.

Preferred: Direct hands‑on experience with web site development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and liquid markup.

Direct hands‑on administrative experience with Technolutions Slate or Salesforce, including configuration, flow automation, and security models.

Minimum Requirements

Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions.

Thorough knowledge of related areas of IT.

Strong skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture.

In‑depth understanding and skill in process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description.

Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.

Self‑motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem solving skills.

Broad knowledge relating to software design.

Thorough knowledge of business processes and procedures.

Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.

Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non‑technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non‑technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

Demonstrated proficiency with at least one enterprise CRM platform (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, etc.) for system administration and configuration.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of relational databases and data management principles.

Advanced knowledge of Technolutions Slate, including portals, rules, queries, forms, and Deliver campaigns.

Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Experience using SaaS form‑building and workflow automation tools (e.g., Kuali Build).

Deep understanding of the higher education student lifecycle, from prospect management and admissions application processing to student retention.

Knowledge of FERPA and other regulations related to the management of confidential student data.

Demonstrated ability to create and modify web sites including coding using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and liquid markup.
