Senior Analyst - Capital Markets

SimplyHome is seeking a seasoned Capital Markets Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will play a pivotal role in our continued success by helping to oversee the company's financial resources, managing liquidity, optimizing capital structure specific to the real estate industry, and executing strategic transactions in the capital markets. You will be a key advisor to senior leadership on financial matters and a vital contributor to the company's overall financial health and stability. We are in search of a driven self-starter who embodies a proactive and collaborative spirit to excel in this exciting role. Manage the company's debt portfolio, including loan agreements, credit lines, and other debt instruments. Analyze and manage financial risks associated with debt, including interest rate risk and credit risk. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's capital structure and minimize borrowing costs. Monitor and forecast future debt needs, ensuring timely renewals or refinancing. Ensure compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements. Maintain strong relationships with key lending institutions. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management on debt activities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including property management, accounting, and legal departments, to ensure alignment and execution of financing strategies. Expert in debt financing, loan structures, and risk management. Has extensive experience in evaluating financial risks and devising strategies to mitigate them, ensuring optimal loan structuring. Excellent at analysis and problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions that drive business success. Knowledgeable about real estate capital markets. In-depth understanding of market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes that impact the real estate sector. Strong communicator with good relationship-building skills. Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and industry stakeholders. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and handling a diverse workload efficiently without supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modeling software. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and various financial modeling tools, enabling accurate and efficient financial analysis and reporting. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required. At least 5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, FP&A, or related field required.
