Our client, a home textile company, is looking for a Jr. Textile CAD Designer to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
Create and revise CAD artwork for prints, patterns, and textile designs in alignment with seasonal concepts and brand direction.
Develop pattern repeats, colorways, and placement layouts for various product categories.
Prepare production-ready artwork files and ensure accuracy of scale, color, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with design, product development, and merchandising teams to translate concepts into digital artwork.
Maintain organized CAD libraries for prints, patterns, and textile assets while tracking revisions and updates.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in CAD design within fashion, textiles, or a related creative field.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with experience creating repeat patterns and textile artwork.
Solid understanding of color, pattern development, and textile design principles.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
