Position Summary
The Marketing Manager at OneWater Marine is responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing content, campaigns, and digital communications across all channels. This role oversees creative copywriting, content development, and digital property management, while also collaborating with internal departments to support company initiatives. The Marketing Manager ensures brand consistency and drives engagement through thoughtful messaging and high‑quality marketing materials that align with OneWater’s growth and customer experience goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties (Most Important to Least Important)
Creates and edits new copy for various assets and properties, both print and digital.
Manage and update web content across OneWater’s digital properties to ensure relevance, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Lead content strategy and execution across digital and print platforms, including websites, email, advertising, social media, and promotional materials.
Create and edit engaging copy for a variety of internal and external marketing assets, including brochures, TV/print ads, digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and event collateral.
Collaborate with internal departments to develop supporting content and materials.
Maintain and enforce an in‑house style guide to ensure consistency in tone, language, and formatting across all channels.
Contribute to campaign planning, audience targeting, and creative direction.
Coordinate with outside vendors or creative teams, when applicable.
Perform other marketing duties and cross‑functional support as assigned.
Skills
Strong copywriting and editing skills with command of the English language.
Ability to adapt writing style across different media and audiences.
High attention to detail and ability to produce a high volume of accurate, on‑brand content.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), email platforms, and digital marketing tools.
Creative thinking combined with strategic judgment in aligning messaging with business goals.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new platforms and systems.
Familiarity with the boating or marine industry strongly preferred.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or communications.
Experience managing content for digital platforms including websites, email campaigns, and social media.
Experience in marine, outdoor lifestyle, automotive, or luxury consumer goods industries is a plus.
Physical Demands C=Constantly, F=Frequently, O=Occasionally, R=Rarely. (5‑8 hrs./shift, 2‑5 hrs./shift, up to 2 hrs./shift, not regular part of job).
