A pioneering satellite scale-up is building its U.S. presence and looking for a Business Development Manager to take the lead on government engagement. With offices in DC and Denver, they are scaling fast, with a vision to deliver advanced small satellite systems that shape the future of national security and space access.

You’ll be at the forefront of government engagement, developing relationships with SDA, NRO, DoD, and key primes, while leading capture efforts across upcoming satellite programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead capture strategy across SDA, NRO, DoD, and key primes
Develop and shape a pipeline of small satellite system sales
Engage with defense contractors, primes, and institutional stakeholders
Manage proposals, serving as capture manager with contracts and engineering support
Represent the business at conferences, policy briefings, and industry events
Key Requirements
10+ years in space missions, with strong sales and capture background
Track record of selling small satellite systems into U.S. government programs
Deep network across DoD, SDA, NRO, and defense sector primes
Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a start-up / 0–1 culture
Active security clearance
