As part of the Communications team, this role will partner closely with senior executives, Marketing leadership and the Events team. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role that sits at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and execution. This person will be the creative and strategic storytelling force behind Gong’s biggest keynote moments – owning executive content for flagship events like Celebrate and Celebrate Roadshows, as well as for key third‑party events like Gartner CSO.

Responsibilities

Leading executive keynote and holistic event content development end‑to‑end for key external‑facing hosted and third‑party events, plus select internal engagements

Shaping clear, cohesive narratives aligned to company strategy and audience needs

Collaborating with internal teams including Events, Product Marketing, Sales, Brand, Creative, Design and Communications teams, to craft compelling, stage‑ready content

Serving as a trusted thought partner to senior executives, internal and external speakers

Driving content timelines, reviews, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure on‑time delivery

Maintaining a high bar for clarity, storytelling, and polish across all executive event moments

Source, brief, and consult with internal and external speakers to create keynotes

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in content strategy, executive communications, event content, or related roles, with demonstrated ownership of high‑visibility, executive‑facing presentations

Proven experience developing and shaping keynote or large‑scale event content from concept through live delivery

Exceptional storytelling and editorial judgment, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives

Strong executive presence and confidence partnering with senior leaders, including the ability to guide messaging, optimize and elevate content

Demonstrated project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross‑functional workstreams and delivering under tight timelines

A sharp editorial lens paired with the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels

Experience working across marketing, brand, and events teams to ensure cohesion across teams

Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments with shifting priorities and high stakes

Willing to travel to various key events

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $138,000 - $210,000 USD.

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job‑related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location‑based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
