About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead the integration of hospital and practice cardiology operations under a unified strategic vision. This newly created leadership role is pivotal in the program rebuild and expansion, with a focus on partnering with physician and administrative leaders to reignite momentum in key areas such as Structural Heart, EP, and CV surgery growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing an employed cardiology practice, outreach clinics, Cath labs, invasive and non-invasive services, and will work closely with CVOR and inpatient cardiac units to ensure a cohesive and aligned service line.
Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Master's degree (MHA/MBA preferred) and 5-10+ years of progressive cardiovascular leadership experience, with a proven track record in building or relaunching programs. Strong physician partnership skills, financial and strategic acumen, and the ability to bring service line strategy, financial discipline, and process improvement are essential. The role demands a true system-level leader who can effectively manage the significant and upward-trending volumes, and who is adept at navigating the challenges posed by instability in key specialties. The ideal candidate will be a relationship builder, capable of fostering a collaborative environment and driving the success of the cardiovascular services.
