Overview: Our client, a well-known and highly respected organization, is seeking a seasoned
Vice President of Income Tax
to lead its tax function. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of income tax accounting, compliance, and reporting across a complex, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the company's global income tax function, including tax provision, compliance, and reporting Oversee ASC 740 tax accounting, including preparation and review of tax provisions and related disclosures Manage domestic and international tax matters, including planning and compliance Provide leadership on transfer pricing strategies and documentation Oversee tax audits and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors Partner cross-functionally with finance, legal, and executive leadership on tax strategy and risk management Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international tax regulations
Qualifications:
CPA required 15-20+ years of progressive tax experience across Big 4/public accounting and corporate industry environments Strong leadership experience within corporate tax functions Deep technical expertise in ASC 740, book-to-tax differences, and income tax disclosures Extensive experience with income tax accounting (tax provision), domestic and international tax, transfer pricing, and tax compliance Proven ability to manage audits and interact with senior stakeholders
