Director of Electrical Engineering
to take ownership of the electrical team, shape the direction of the practice, and play a key role in delivering complex multidisciplinary projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
Provide leadership and direction for electrical engineering activities across multiple projects
Oversee the design of building electrical systems including power, lighting, and life safety systems
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing electrical engineering team
Support project pursuits and client relationship development
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and technology disciplines
Interface with project stakeholders including owners, consultants, and regulatory agencies
Provide technical guidance and review engineering work to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
Contribute to project planning, coordination, and successful delivery
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Extensive experience in electrical design for building systems, 15+ years
Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineers or design teams
Strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting systems, and building electrical infrastructure
Experience across multiple project sectors such as commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial facilities
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while leading engineering teams
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
