to serve as our primary field leader and technical expert in Traverse City. This role empowers you to mentor dedicated crews, oversee high-standard roofing installations, and maintain the professional reputation of our rapidly expanding company. You will act as the vital link between project planning and onsite execution for residential, commercial, and government builds. You will be the absolute authority on the job site, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly and our crews are operating at peak performance: Technical Execution:
Execute and oversee complex flashing installations, precise transitions, and intricate details to ensure long-term structural integrity. Site Leadership:
Lead, train, and mentor installation crews in a fast-paced environment to maintain strict adherence to quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Operational Flow:
Coordinate daily site operations, manage crew dynamics to optimize production efficiency, and maintain a pristine, safe job site environment through diligent daily cleanup protocols. Client Relations:
Interface professionally and respectfully with homeowners and neighbors to address project inquiries, provide updates, and collect final payments. Quality Control:
Perform comprehensive post-installation inspections to validate that all work meets Northshore’s elite benchmarks. Project Administration:
Document project progress daily by capturing site and driveway photos via business smartphone applications. What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of dedicated, professional roofing experience. (Prior experience in a Field Supervisor or Lead Foreman capacity is highly preferred!) Technical Mastery:
Proven expertise in managing, executing, and teaching complex flashing transitions and advanced roofing details. Leadership Skills:
The demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and train field crews while improving overall installation quality and efficiency. Tech-Savvy:
High proficiency in using smartphone applications for daily project documentation and reporting. Soft Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interactions with high-end clients and neighbors. Licensure & Education:
