Credit and Collections Representative
– As a member of the Credit Services team, you will provide a broad range of financial‑related support to internal and external customers. You will report to the Credit Services Manager. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the Cranberry Twp, PA office.
Key Responsibilities
Perform credit investigations and evaluations of credit risk to approve new customer accounts and assign credit limits.
Evaluate new and existing customers and use special financial arrangements, credit counseling, and customer visitations.
Monitor accounts daily – place accounts on hold, release orders, review collection notes and aged balances, and provide account adjustments as necessary.
Prepare annual credit reviews in compliance with the Corporate Credit policy.
Communicate with field sales and sales management on the status of assigned accounts, coordinate investigation of UADs, pricing issues, required credit memos and other actions required based on investigation and analysis.
Communicate and answer incoming phone calls from store personnel, resolving customer situations dealing with credit limits, closed accounts, or accounts placed on credit hold.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business‑oriented field of study, preferred.
Previous experience working with financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Experience with SAP and other credit software.
Ability to analyze multiple types of financial information and reach sound conclusions.
Complete knowledge of special financial instruments such as security agreements, third‑party guarantees, promissory notes, and letters of credit to perfect the appropriate financial arrangement (desired).
Infrequent travel expectations can be up to 10%.
