Workers' Compensation Claims Representative – Southeast (Remote)

Workers' Compensation Claims Representative
to join a team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the continental United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing workers' compensation claims, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle claims across multiple jurisdictions. Compensation Package
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities
Determine compensability and/or coverage issues for lost-time workers' compensation claims.
Effectively manage a caseload of lost-time claims across multiple jurisdictions.
Negotiate and direct settlements under management's review.
Gather medical and factual evidence to determine compensability.
Direct outside investigations and manage litigation files within assigned authority.
Maintain regular communication with claimants, attorneys, outside investigators, rehabilitation personnel, insureds, account liaisons, and medical providers.
Qualifications/Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims handling.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Adjuster license and confirmation of home state license are mandatory.
Jurisdictional experience in GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, TN, and LA is required.
Carrier experience is preferred.
Experience in handling lost-time or litigated claims.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
