What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Assist customers with U‑Haul products and services both inside and outside the center

Utilize smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory

Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers while ensuring equipment cleanliness and safety

Prepare rental invoices and manage the return of rental equipment

Participate in continuous education and training programs offered by U‑Haul

What is Required (Qualifications):

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work in environments with moderate risks and discomforts

Capability to handle physical demands, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs

Must comply with the employer’s nicotine‑free hiring policy in certain states

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Previous experience in customer service or a related field

Familiarity with equipment maintenance and inspections

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Willingness to obtain certifications for tasks such as filling propane and driving a forklift
