Director, Total Rewards
on behalf of a commercial real estate company headquartered in San Diego. This is a strategic leadership role sitting on the People & Culture leadership team and reporting directly to the Chief People Officer. You’ll lead compensation strategy, incentive program design, and HR technology for a high-performing, fast-moving organization. You’ll have direct access to the CPO and senior leadership, and your work will have a tangible impact on how the company attracts and retains top talent. What You’ll Do
Compensation & Total Rewards
Design and manage competitive, equitable compensation structures across the organization Lead the annual total rewards cycle — benchmarking, job evaluation, pay equity Develop and administer short- and long-term incentive programs Deliver compensation insights and reporting to leadership Ensure compliance with FLSA, ADA, and applicable employment law HR Technology
Own the HR technology roadmap and drive platform optimization Partner on HRIS administration, integrations, and data integrity Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and AI-enabled efficiencies What We’re Looking For
10+ years in HR; 3+ years leading compensation and HRIS functions Deep expertise in comp program design, pay structures, and incentive administration Strong HRIS platform experience (UKG, Workday, or similar) Excellent analytical and communication skills Background in commercial real estate, financial services, or life sciences a plus Bachelor’s degree required; CCP, SHRM‑SCP, or HRIS certifications a plus Market‑competitive base salary + short- and long‑term incentives + comprehensive benefits package.
