Youth Director - Anaheim Revive Church
Under the supervision of the Vision & Discipleship Pastor, the Youth Director will cultivate a Youth Ministry by fostering an inclusive environment that nurtures and equips youth for spiritual maturity through worship, prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and discipleship relationships. The Youth Director will coordinate and develop strategies for outreach to young people, work with parents to nurture their children’s faith, and to encourage sincere fellowship with appropriate boundaries and discipline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and lead youth programs and activities that align with ARC’s mission and vision
Prepare and teach weekly Sunday School lessons to help youth build a strong foundation in biblical principles and address real-life challenges
Organize and lead one to two youth activities each month
Foster spiritual growth and discipleship among youth through regular gatherings, Bible studies, and service opportunities
Recruit, train, and empower lay leaders and volunteers to expand youth ministry’s reach and impact
Maintain strong communication and relationships with youth, parents, and church staff
Ensure compliance with child protection policies and complete background checks as required
Collaborate with church leadership and other ministry leaders to integrate youth ministry into the broader church community
Attend worship services and church events, actively encouraging youth participation by leading through example
Model a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong calling to serve God by shepherding young people
Stay connected to God through spiritual disciplines and soul care, and seek ongoing professional development in ministry best practices
Pursue ongoing professional development and spiritual growth
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, education, or a related field preferred (significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Born‑again believer with a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ
Strong calling to serve God by shepherding young people
Prior experience working with youth or leading youth programs, preferably in a church or faith‑based setting
Proven ability to raise up, disciple, equip and empower lay leaders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with youth, parents, and church staff
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE: The position offers a competitive hourly wage range of $20-25, with the exact rate determined based on the candidate’s experience. The anticipated commitment is approximately 20 hours per week. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking consistent part-time work with flexible scheduling.
