Our client is a highly regarded New York law firm with a strong focus on real estate, tax, and transactional matters. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, and institutional clients on complex real estate investments and sophisticated partnership structures.

The successful candidate will work on complex tax matters related to real estate investments and partnership structures, gaining exposure to sophisticated transactions and working directly with senior attorneys and clients.

Responsbilities
Assist in advising clients on tax matters relating to real estate transactions and partnership structures
Conduct legal research and analysis on federal, state, and local tax issues
Draft and review tax-related agreements, memoranda, and transactional documents
Support the structuring of real estate investments and partnership arrangements
Collaborate with transactional and real estate teams on complex matters
Maintain strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation and analysing tax implications
Support senior attorneys in delivering strategic tax advice to clients
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
1–3 years of relevant tax experience
LLM in Taxation preferred
Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with a client-focused approach
