This is an opportunity to work in a top-level position that is part of the CTO EMEA organization while also contributing to the strategic, cross-functional initiative. This role operates at account level providing beyond a single opportunity building a technology strategy that delivers against the customers long-term goals.

IF YOU ARE

A technology leader with 10+ years of experience in software-engineering, specializing in emerging technologies, robotics, AI, IoT products and solutions.

A proven expert (5+ years) in working with manufacturing enterprises, deeply understanding their unique challenges.

Professional in building and leading complex digital projects and solutions (involving multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams) within the manufacturing sector.

Familiar with technology domains such as Robotics, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and able to assess where they add tangible value in industrial contexts.

Able to build trust and collaborate effectively with demanding, highly technical stakeholders.

Adept at evaluating, improving, and establishing modern engineering tools and governance processes for cloud-native solutions.

An engineering leader capable of resolving inter-program and inter-project technical issues across diverse manufacturing initiatives.

A professional with a proven record of implementing cross-program and cross-project architectural strategies that drive significant business outcomes in manufacturing.

Experienced in auditing projects and solutions for technical excellence, scalability, security, and adherence to best practices in an industrial context.

Experienced with industrial platforms and tooling including Litmus and Ignition.

Effectively communicates and proves the ROI of modern technologies like AWS, Python, AI/ML.

Well-versed in maintaining company-wide architecture documentation and standards relevant to industrial cloud solutions.

AND YOU WANT TO

Build a strategic roadmap for achieving long-term business goals and technically supporting enterprise business processes for a key manufacturing client in Germany.

Interact with all roles at customer – including CDO, CIO, CTO, IT-Architects, business leaders, technical staff and business representatives.

Establish and maintain trusted relationships within IT and business units to deeply understand their strategies, alternatives, business activity drivers, and evolving requirements.

Keep up-to-date with the technological development and new products appearing on the market, which could accelerate the customer’s digital transformation journey. Proactively come up with the ideas for R&D and PoC projects to prove value from those emerging products and technologies.

Orchestrate and mentor cross-functional teams of Principal- and Solution-Architects.

Communicate Enterprise Architecture within the information community and the business units of our manufacturing client, translating complex technical concepts into business value.

Ensure compliance of projects and programs with architectural guidelines for IoT and AI/ML within manufacturing contexts.
