Transaction Manager, Account Specialist

Account Specialist in Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including monthly advance servicing, project funding, workflow management, and quality control. The team member will be accountable for operational oversight of servicing transactions to ensure all internal and external requirements are met. Citi Community Capital (CCC) provides a suite of financial products to help affordable housing developers construct, rehabilitate, refinance, and acquire affordable multifamily housing. CCC finances both straightforward and highly structured transactions for non‑profit and for‑profit developers, Community Development Financial Institutions, and state and local agencies. Job Responsibilities

Manage and service an active portfolio of multifamily rental construction transactions (e.g., loans, bonds, and letters of credit). Strong understanding of deal structure, economic terms, and high‑volume workflow. Work closely with clients, governmental agencies, fiscal agents, and other external parties on monthly deal disbursement and approval. Coordinate actions internally with Asset Managers, Construction Management, Risk, and Operations. Review disbursement requests, inspection reports, title updates, and managing flow of funds to meet funding deadlines. Review deal summaries, legal documents, and construction budgets to ensure risk profile and deal structure remain accurate across all systems. Monitor ongoing portfolio updates, including extensions, modifications, and other deal events. Handle data requests from internal teams, regulators, clients, and third parties. Assist in creating processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management. Aid in design and implementation of technology including testing and rollout. Ensure quality of data, controls, and processes meets internal policies and regulatory expectations. Participate in projects to enhance performance and efficiency. Appropriately assess risk and demonstrate consideration for the firm’s reputation, driving compliance with laws and regulations, applying ethical judgment, and escalating control issues transparently. Qualifications

1‑2 years of experience servicing affordable multifamily loans; knowledge of commercial real estate legal documentation and construction budget is a plus. Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Energetic, initiative‑driven, team player, quick learner, able to work with minimal supervision. Comfortable learning new systems/applications; strong quantitative skills and high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft programs. Ability to work well under tight deadlines, manage high‑volume pipeline, prioritize, and complete tasks with minimal management follow‑up. Familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools. Experience with Loan IQ, Built, transaction capture tools, etc. Developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Strong internal and external client relationship and solution skills. Ability to work in a changing priority environment. Education
