Our mission is powered by a robust ecosystem of data, including a comprehensive customer dataset from our Ulta Beauty Rewards loyalty program, which boasts over 44 million active members. The Senior Analyst, Strategic Analytics will play a crucial role in measuring and optimizing personalization initiatives across various marketing channels. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams to design impactful experiments, quantify the effects of personalized activations, and transform complex datasets into actionable insights. HERE'S HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: Analyze A/B and multivariate personalization experiments using Adobe Target, ensuring statistical validity and providing actionable recommendations. Collaborate with Marketing Personalization and Digital teams to uncover insights, recommending testing opportunities to enhance customer journeys. Work with Data Science teams to propose new analytics models for targeting personalized audiences. Assess customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics to evaluate performance and engagement. Query and manipulate large datasets in SQL and Python within a big data environment (Google Cloud Platform). Create automated dashboards and reporting solutions in PowerBI to facilitate self-service performance monitoring. Translate business needs into meaningful insights and select optimal analytics techniques based on the problem at hand. Present results to various teams, tailoring the message for different audiences to foster actionable decision-making. Continuously seek improvements in analysis processes and deliverables. Build strong partnerships across Ulta Beauty to consult on achieving business goals through customer data insights. Enhance analysis workflows, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience in experimentation, digital analytics, or customer behavior analytics (internship/project experience considered for early-career candidates). Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with A/B Testing Tools, particularly Adobe Target. Experience using Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics. Knowledge of Python or R is a plus. Experience in the retail or CPG sectors is highly desirable. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is an advantage. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive and organized approach to working on multiple projects with the capability to prioritize effectively. Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented with a knack for making proactive recommendations. COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position is $77,600.00 - $115,000.00 per year, with eligibility for additional compensation through the company's bonus plan.
