Position Overview: We are seeking an Analyst, Residential Asset Valuation to support our investment and originations team in evaluating residential assets for investment purposes across multiple high-end housing markets. This individual will lead Bay Point’s single-family valuation efforts, perform property-level valuation analysis, and coordinate valuation workstreams associated with transactions. The role will serve as the firm’s internal authority on residential property values and provide critical input into investment decisions. The ideal candidate will be a licensed residential appraiser with significant experience valuing high-end single-family homes and strong familiarity with desirable residential submarkets.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-house valuation and underwriting of single-family residential properties, with emphasis on higher-value and complex assets.
Conduct site visits and property inspections to evaluate property condition, market positioning, and other factors relevant to valuation
Analyze comparable sales, property condition, location dynamics, and market liquidity to support pricing decisions.
Underwrite and defend valuation conclusions used in credit and investment decisions.
Establish and maintain consistent valuation methodologies across transactions.
Coordinate valuation reports and required documentation with third-party counterparties.
Monitor residential market conditions across several high-end and sought-after submarkets, with a focus on pricing trends and liquidity.
Serve as the internal point of contact for all single-family residential valuation matters.
Qualifications:
Significant experience valuing high-end single-family residential properties.
Deep familiarity with desirable residential submarkets and pricing dynamics.
Strong independent judgment and confidence in making valuation determinations.
Ability to operate effectively in a transaction-driven, time-sensitive environment.

This role is based in Atlanta, GA. Candidates must be willing to work from the Atlanta office.
