Join a high-visibility cybersecurity program supporting the Defense Logistics Agency, one of the largest logistics operations in the world. You'll work hands‑on with
enterprise firewall technologies, cloud security, and mission‑critical systems
in a DoD environment. Responsibilities
Support
Check Point firewall operations (R81/R82)
across a large enterprise Perform
installation, configuration, upgrades, and day‑to‑day sustainment Manage
security policies, NAT rules, and VPN configurations Troubleshoot network/security issues and support
incident response activities Work within
ServiceNow (or similar)
to resolve tickets and execute changes (FCR/ECR) Ensure compliance with
STIGs, IA standards, and DoD cybersecurity policies Assist with
cloud security policies (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) Create and maintain
technical documentation, SOPs, and change records Required Experience
Five (5+) years in
firewall administration / network security Hands‑on experience with
Check Point firewalls Strong understanding of
LAN/WAN networking and enterprise environments Experience with
ticketing systems (ServiceNow or equivalent) Knowledge of
DoD IA standards and STIG compliance On‑Call:
24x7x365 on‑call with 2‑hour response requirement. SIPR
access – Secret Internet Protocol Router Network Automation
(Ansible, scripting, IaC) Required Certifications (No Exceptions)
IAT Level II
(Security+ CE, or CISSP, or CASP+, etc.) only 1 current required Check Point Certification (R81.1 current):
CCSA, or CCSE, or CCSM only 1 current required Cloud Certification:
AWS, or Azure, or OCI, or Check Point Cloud (only 1 required) Nice to Have
Experience in
large enterprise environments Travel Requirement
Program requires annual
Check Point training
in Dallas and one‑time SecureView training in Rome, NY for new hires. About S2i2
