Senior Contract Specialist

12-month contract with potential extensions Position Requirements: • Minimum 10 years' experience negotiating IT Software contracts (Masters, SOW’s, NDA’s, POC’s, etc.) Preferred Requirements: • Procurement experience in the energy industry • Proficient in SAP and Icertis. • Advanced understanding of IT Software Buying Channels (OEM, Resellers, Etc.) • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence critical decisions. Position Overview: • Solicitation, negotiation, award, and post award administration of Information Technology Software contracts. • Executing day-to-day procurement activities, mainly focusing on negotiating and executing contracts in support of the Information Technology Software team, including but not limited to: o Negotiating various types of agreements in support of IT Software (Masters, SOW’s, NDA’s, POC’s, etc.) o Invoice resolution o Conducting RFP’s in Company’s approved sourcing tool o Driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance and streamline contracting processes. o Managing assigned software contract assignments effectively and efficiently, with focus on high stakeholder engagement/management. o Mitigating procurement risks, while reducing total cost of ownership without negatively affecting value. o Maintaining appropriate contract files in accordance with document retention policies. o Supporting periodic audit activities. o Collaborating with Legal to ensure compliance with all P66 clause owner requirements and legal statutes. Compensation: $44/hr to $50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
