Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Closer to join our team in a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Mortgage Loan Closer will be responsible for reviewing and preparing loan documents, coordinating the closing process, managing funding activities, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. This role requires close collaboration with escrow agents, loan officers, and other team members to ensure smooth and timely loan closings while providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications
Strong knowledge in the Mortgage Industry, including industry regulations and best practices Proficiency in reviewing and preparing accurate Loan Documents Experience in Mortgage Lending, including knowledge of loan processes and compliance requirements Ability to manage Funding and Escrow processes effectively and efficiently Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Working knowledge of relevant software and tools Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred Must have a minimum of 1 year experience preparing Conventional & FHA closing documents. Experience with VA, USDA, FHA 203k, and/or state bond programs is also very helpful. Must maintain a high level of productivity while not sacrificing quality Ability to prioritize work-load Current knowledge of TRID tolerance requirements and waiting periods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience on Encompass 360 not required but a major plus. Compensation will be based upon experience level.
